But that can be easily checked by opening the Registry Editor. It is possible that you will not see all installed ActiveX controls in this folder, which means Occache.DLL is using more folders. This folder will list the installed ActiveX controls by file. Internet Explorer makes use of a DLL called OCCACHE.DLL to manage the add-ons, but you can also see which ActiveX controls are installed by looking at the “Downloaded Program Files” directory in the Windows directory. Note that you may need to close all other instances of Internet Explorer to ensure that the ActiveX control is not in use. Select the ActiveX control you want to remove and then click the Delete button. The list will now only show downloaded ActiveX controls. If you want to delete downloaded ActiveX controls, you first need to select Downloaded ActiveX Controls (32-bit) in the top of the dialog box (next to the Show: text). You can select any of the add-ons and then enable or disable it. Especially the ActiveX file name can be handy to know. You can see all details of the ActiveX controls by using the scrollbars in the list. The dialog box will show you a list of all installed ActiveX components, grouped by status.
